I don't get why there are so many people here flaming this guy. Mookids, he's laughing, he's not saying anything bad about it...
Lo3d3r's attitude is immature and offensive. I could perhaps understand his amusement if there was some kind of joke involved. There was not. He was simply laughing at the idea of a character in Eve being ***. What exactly is inherantly funny about homosexuals?
If he had made a post saying "WTF LOL Brutors are black men!!!", people would be (rightly) offended. How is this any different? ----------------------------------------

Haha, way to put words in my mouth. I wasn't going to say anything of the sort. Paranoid about me being paranoid?
Anyway, you managed to miss the point entirely. Well done! ----------------------------------------

Anyhoo, I really don't think i missed the point, i was merely saying you were wrong to even link those things together, as there's no way you'd see "he was forced out of the Navy because he was black".
Ah, but that is where I think you're missing the point. The original post was laughing at the fact that the character was ***, not at the storyline surrounding it. Personally I think laughing at someone *purely* because of their sexuality is exactly the same as laughing at someone because of their race, religion, disability or whatever. Predjudice is predjudice. ----------------------------------------

Julien Darida, I think you need to chill out and actually think about what is so offensive and why you are offended, rather than just seeing the words "***" and "black" and automatically going into politically correct mode.
I'm perfectly chilled thank you! Honestly, if you think I'm going on about political correctness then you have misinterpreted me. It's about respect. I'm not actually particularly offended personally by the original posters comments. I am however irritated because I find the comments disrespectful and immature, and I can see how they could be hurtful to others.
I agree that ideally such comments would be treated as odd rather than offensive. Unfortunately, the real world just doesn't work that way. ----------------------------------------
